Good evening Torpedoes!

We are getting ready to jump into to the meat of the season - I wanted to share some info on Time Trials and then Meet #1 registration.

Time Trials: In lieu of a mock meet we are going to do time trials for swimmers during their designated practice time. Registration is now open.  Kids will warm up and then will file through the lanes with timers to get times in 3-4 strokes. We will be using the starter so they can practice starting with that 'beep'.  There will not be relays. Who needs to come?  I'd love to see as many swimmers as possible attend but it is most important for new swimmers and swimmers that are at new distances (all 7 year olds/25yds & 11 year olds/50yds).  If you can't make time trials and swam last season we will pull times from 2023 for seeding the first meet; all others will be entered as NT (no time) for the first meet.

Meet #1 - June 11 @ HOME

This meet registration will OPEN TOMORROW and CLOSE on FRIDAY, June 7th at noon.  If you do not declare you are attending we will assume you aren't attending but it is helpful if you will declare one way or the other.  During registration there will be options to select strokes for each swimmer. PLEASE SELECT 3 STROKES for 7-18yo and 2 STROKES for 6&U. Selecting all strokes or 0 strokes will allow Coach Ali to select strokes as she sees best.  There will also be options for relays - No Relays, All Relays, No Early Relays, No Late Relays.  On deck changes on the day of the meet are very challenging for coaches and our wonderful tech team so close attention to relay & stroke selection during registration is greatly appreciated.
